Minor Blues in A

The minor blues is darker and more melancholic than its major counterpart. In A minor: Am7–Dm7–Am7–Am7–Dm7–Dm7–Am7–Am7–E7–Dm7–Am7–E7. The minor tonic gives a brooding quality while the dominant E7 still provides harmonic tension. Used in countless jazz, rock, and slow blues pieces.
