Quick-Change 12-Bar Blues in G

The "quick change" variant of the 12-bar blues moves to the IV chord (C7) in bar 2 instead of staying on the I chord for four bars. This creates more harmonic movement and a restless, energetic feel. In G: G7–C7–G7–G7–C7–C7–G7–G7–D7–C7–G7–D7. Very common in electric blues and jump blues.
