Soleares en La (Flamenco)

The Soleares is one of the most important palos (forms) of flamenco, counted in a 12-beat cycle. In A Phrygian: the progression moves Am–G–F–E (the Phrygian cadence), with the E major chord (picardía) serving as the characteristic flamenco tonic. The 12-beat rhythmic cycle has accents on beats 3, 6, 8, 10, and 12.
